Solid stone, cut and sealed. It keeps water cool because stone does.

Each bowl is cut from a single block of Verde Guatemala or Calacatta Viola, sealed food-safe and engraved underneath with the hound. The veining on yours will not match the photograph exactly, which is rather the point.
